AvaSales launch video
AvaSales is an AI phone agent for Shopify stores. It picks up support calls at three in the morning, and it calls back the people who filled a cart and left without paying. This is the video that launched it, and the one that plays when AvaSales sits down with investors
The challenge
A voice product has nothing to show. The interesting part is a conversation, which is why almost every demo in this space ends up as a screen recording of a settings page. On top of that the video had to work in two very different rooms: a merchant deciding whether to install an app, and an investor deciding whether the market is real
What we did
We put the whole thing on a phone, because that is where the product actually lives. It opens on a shopper walking away from a full cart, the call comes in, and the sale closes before the merchant side of the app ever appears. Nothing is filmed and nothing is stock, every screen is animated. The voices in the video are the same ones the app calls with, so what you hear is what a customer would hear. The music underneath is custom made for the video, written to sit under the call audio instead of fighting it
Where it landed
One cut doing two jobs. It sits at the top of the site as the launch video, and it opens the deck in investor meetings, which is a rare thing to ask of sixty seconds
That's the whole story
