Gemini
Google never called. Gemini is their AI assistant, and we kept wondering what a launch would look like if the story came before the feature list. So we went ahead and made it ourselves.
The challenge
Every AI assistant gets shown the same way, a chat window and a demo of what it can do. Gemini actually lives in small everyday moments, which is much harder to put on screen. We needed a structure that could carry a whole relationship in under a minute, with the prompts as the only text and not a single line of voiceover.
What we did
We told one love story through the prompts along the way. It opens with booking a table for a first date and ends with an anniversary photo in Rome, while the wording on screen quietly shifts from “a first date” to “our first anniversary”. Each scene is a real moment with the prompt floating over it, and the final beat lets the product do the talking when Gemini edits a photobomber out of the couple’s picture.
Where it paid off
A finished 48 second spec video that stands on its own and closes on the line “For every step of your story”. There was no brief behind it, only the concept we would have pitched if the call had come.
And that is the end of the case study. If you liked what you saw and have a launch coming, let’s get in touch, or see more of our work below.
